In that case BBKA membership is also ridiculously cheap!  If you value the Scottish Beekeeper only half as much as Bee Craft (don't why you would of course), then the membership costs are similar.  However the compensation scheme N of the border gives you five times the cover (in a good year!).

Yes, perhaps the bee diseases insurance/compensation schemes may need to change.  We'll see.
