Re coumaphos in honey. Yes, has been tested. Very low levels. Not
considered to be of concern to human health.
Re Apistan being 5x more toxic. As far as I can tell, this is a
misconception based upon the relabeling with the nomenclature "tau
fluvalinate" vs "fluvalinate" (the racemic form).
According to the manufacturer, there was no change other than in
nomenclature, in order to be more accurate chemically. The tau form is
indeed more toxic than the racemic mixture. However, this should have made
no difference in the product.
