Slides 16 and 17 lead one to conclude the compound allows the
development of Nosema and varroa mites in the test colonies substantially
more than in the control colonies. Because this is just before winter
it could be reasoned that this will increase winter mortality.
So yes, it would have been valuable to have extended the trial beyond
October and compare to predecent compounds in a similar trial
before assuming Movento is safer.
