Our local elementary school studies rainforests every spring. The 4th
graders choose rainforest critters and plants and turn the hallway into a
rainforest each spring. It is wonderful! Maybe your space - or a section of
your space could be kid-developed: work with a school or have a contest or
just open it up and bring in lots of families & kids in to participate on a
Saturday - Create a Rainforest Day! (Cheap and a good way to draw in new
people!)
Just a thought... - a museum volunteer and environmental educator (Betsy
Bass)
