There may be some interest in this action taken by the Cooperative Group in
Britain to temporarily ban the use of 8 named neonicotinoid pesticides in
crops used for its own brand food:

The Cooperative is Britain's fifth largest food retailer, with 8% of the
market and over 3,000 outlets.  It also farms over 70,000 acres of land,
making it the largest farmer in the UK
