Evaluation Issues and Tools for Non-Profits
Date: Wednesday, October 14, 2009
Time: 12-1:30 p.m.Place: 2015 Q St. N.W. , Washington, DC
(Red Line Metro Dupont Circle NORTH "Q St." Exit)
Bring your lunch, drinks & dessert provided.
Along with my colleagues Sara Melendez (former faculty on nonprofit
management at George Washington University and senior staffer at
Independent
Sector) and Brigitte Savage (expert on federal grants and former senior
staffer
with Independent Sector), I will present an informal seminar on evaluation
issues for nonprofits, especially concerning evaluating federally funded
projects and hiring evaluation consultants. I'll point out some useful
evaluation resources available online from federal agencies. But most of
the
seminar will focus on discussion of common questions and challenges we all
face as nonprofits in evaluation and the opportunities it can present in
improving program delivery.
If you can't attend and would like the listing of evaluation resources,
please send me an email ([log in to unmask]).
Call me at (202) 997-5539 with any questions.
