Much depends upon who is the target audience. Preteens and teens will be more likely to have popcorn fights. However, if you make a preliminary statement about the need for cleanliness (!) based on attracting bugs which can do damage to books, most will behave. A note - if you provide the snacks, you can control the kinds and resulting garbage...!
