the Tropical Extinction Crisis
DESCRIPTION: Biodiversity conservation ... global climate change ...
planning a 'greener' planet for future generations: These are vital
topics to everyone, yet scientists whose life mission is the study of
biodiversity are not in agreement on predictions for the future.
Join us at the Smithsonian as eight world-renowned scientists explore
how the future of rainforests is being affected by climate change,
industrial development, and natural resource exploitation.
