DNA "co-discoverer" or not, Dr. Watson sounds like a cranky old man.
Two interesting points:
1) If you ever get a chance to tour the grounds and buildings of Cold
Spring Harbor Labs where Dr. Watson resides, you'll see lots of
fancy indoor and outdoor art, sculpture, etc. but no interactive
science exhibits or even any kinetic or phenomenological art
that I can recall. My understanding is that Dr. Watson makes the art
purchase decisions. <http://www.cshl.edu/public/releases/06_waltz.html>
2) I wonder what the Dolan family (founders of Cablevision, owners of
Radio City, the NY Knicks, etc.) think of that quote considering the
millions of dollars they donated to have the Dolan DNA Learning
Center (a science museum) located near CSHL? <http://www.dnalc.org/
