I have been making my own for the last four years. I was concerned
about what was being used in hives that motivated me to do it.
Washington State University took a sample that I sent in and I am
waiting the results of what they find in it chemical wise. The only
treatment I have done, if a person wants to call it that, is to feed
sugar to get them to an overwintering weight.
It is an enjoyable activity in the winter while I'm watching football
in the shop. Scott
