The EPA Fact Sheet for spirotetramat
http://www.epa.gov/opprd001/factsheets/spirotetramat.pdf
says the label directions of end use products such as Bayer's
Movento insecticide must include the following use restriction:
"This product is toxic to bees Direct exposure to treatment
or residues on blooming crops or weeds can lead to effects
on colonies. Do not apply this product or allow it to drift
if bees are visiting the treatment area."
Virginia Tech ranks spirotetramat (Movento) as Moderately
Toxic to bees (should only be applied during the late evening
or early morning)
