No. Simply because the procedure is too hard to simply repeat over and over
when the queen is given sufficient semen on a single insemination.

Dr. Harbo at times used single drone insemination at times and those queens 
ran out of semen fairly fast.

Some live a long time and others do not. Just like open mated queens. I
really can't see the actual process effects the issue.

Only if the person doing the insemination does a poor job of gathering the
semen. Too much mucus in the semen or miss calculates the amount
inseminated. Both common mistakes by amateurs but not a problem with those
with long time experience.
