NO. coronae was found in all the COD samples.
The roll it played is pure hypothesis. Even by the COD working group.
Certain researchers in Spain seem to think the main roll.
I feel a very significant roll but only hypothesis on my part.
My fumigillin is on back order again. Maker can not keep up.
Better get your order in an not wait till the last minute if planning to use
this fall!
I am past the needing to drench stage *hopefully* and can treat normally in
syrup this fall. I use inside feeders and the girls are hungry now as supers
are removed. All hives low on stores which refuse to take syrup are suspect
for high nosema ceranae spore counts (which is usually confirmed by such
from past experience).
Others bees in other areas may not need treatment which is fine. However
when you see a shortage of a common product it should turn a light on that
many of us are feeling N. ceranae is still an issue.
