Playing With Time from Science Museum of Minnesota had a component
like this, if memory serves.
Oooh, memory does serve -- just found a photo from when the exhibit
was here. It was a series of four identical fruit plates set out at
10-day intervals, continuously over the course of the exhibit (i.e.,
every ten days we would set out a new plate of fresh fruit, throw out
the 40-day-old plate of fruit, and move the 10-, 20-, and 30-day old
plates down one space in line).
