ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

The exhibition Beryl mentions is "Wild Music: Sounds & Songs of Life," a collaboration among the Science Museum of Minnesota, ASTC, and UNC Greensboro School of Music. There's a case study on ExhibitFiles: http://www.exhibitfiles.org/wild_music_sounds__songs_of_life and also one by developer Dave Bailey about one of the components, Pictures of Sound: http://www.exhibitfiles.org/pictures_of_sound

I'm biased, but I think it's a cool exhibition!

By the way, if you haven't yet joined ExhibitFiles, now might be a good time. Anyone in the U.S. writing an NSF proposal: It's a source for your background research - and it would be great to post case studies of earlier exhibitions before you submit your next proposal.

I believe that Boston is now running "Cool Music", and demonstrates the relationship between animal calls and human-made music. Haven't been to see it yet, but I heard the ad yesterday on the radio.
