ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Dear Education and Community Outreach Leaders:

If your institution currently connects with after-school programs in
your community or you are looking to build more connections with
community-based organizations, the Coalition for Science After School
exists to support your work. As part of that mission, the Coalition
is supporting several sessions at the upcoming ASTC conference. If
you would like to learn more about the role of informal science
institutions supporting community-based after-school programs, I
encourage you to attend one or more of these sessions. The first list
includes sessions directly related to the Coalition and/or its
mission. I created the second list informally by going through the
program and finding relevant sessions (not necessarily affiliated with
the Coalition, but likely to be useful to anyone supporting
community-based after-school programs).

For more information about the Coalition, visit
www.ScienceAfterSchool.org or read the newly published Blueprint for
Science After-School at:
http://qt.exploratorium.edu/csas/Blueprint_Full.pdf.
