I certainly hope that will be the case.  On the other hand, I doubt we
will hear much new music, less familiar repertoire, or American Music.

And, on the subject of the CSO, I recently encountered an article on
Stock's contribution to American Music.  I was amazed to see how much
new music he did.  Of course, gone are the days.
