It is probably more valuable then
'excess honey'  both to the bees and in the market place.

Reply:
But Allen says bees cannot live long on it alone which I feel is wrong as it is honey/pollen mixture..................and if valuable for trading, then how do you see bees living on it, ....like bees do seem to go for pollen mix first and then honey in that order.......so what is more valuable and sustainable to them, even as adults perhaps? Has this really been looked at? If so where/when?
