There's a complete field of study about parasites and host behaviors
covering almost all categories of host and parasite.
Hosts may respond to parasites in any number of ways that may help remove
the parasite from themselves or the population.
Parasites have been show to influence the behaviors of their hosts, such as
causing them to disperse, which helps spread the parasite. Parasite mediated
behavioral changes in their hosts are well known.
Limited research indicates that the Kakugo virus, seen in Japan, when
resident in the brain of a honey bee, induces aggressive behavior.
