ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

I developed about 500sqft of exhibits for the Redwoodshores Community
library in Redwoodshores California. They have a slough coming off SF. Bay
right behind their building. During their focus groups with the community it
came out that folks in the neighborhood wanted an interpretive center for
the slough. It has been a great community building activity. The local
Audubon chapter now runs birdwatching walks about of the library.
The public library in Pueblo, Colorado has a news exhibit.
Joel Halverson at the Minnesota Astronomical Society is putting a
planetarium and exhibits in the Minneapolis-Henepin County main library.
I gave a talk at the American Library Association convention this summer on
this topic. If you have more questions let me know. I mostly talked about
the how of the exhibit process and let the librarians talk about the why.
