The U. of West Florida students posted an update to their project journal
that includes a sidescan sonar mosaic image and their use of "flotation"
to search for samples of floral remains.

The second entry by Dr. Glenroy Martin highlights recent collaborative
work between U. of West Florida's Archaeology Institute and the Biology
Department. Dr. Martin reports on his search for marine microorganisms
found in ocean sediments whose novel chemical entities may display
antimicrobial and anticancer activities.
