Hi Deknow
>what I'm asking about is customers of those breeders.
I operate a breeding program and a honey business I am a customer of my
breeders. The other breeders are only required to not treat there
breeding stock not there production stock I chose not to treat both
breeding stock and production stock. I also do not recommend beekeepers
to not treat if there neighbors are not Russian but to use an IPM approach.
> Can you clarify if it is only mite treatments that are not used, or
is > it treatments in general?
I only recommend using Fumagilin at this time using an IPM system. I
have had my breeders tested for Nosema C and the highest count was
12,000 spores per bee in 6 colonies in 3 different yards no treatment of
any kind.
