I do not doubt the placebo affects at all. However, for the past 10 years,
I've been taking honey for hay fever / allergies. Last year and for the
Katrina year, I did not have honey from my own hives. Out of the 10 years of
being a beekeeper hobbyist, I only experienced allergy symptoms twice in
that time period...last year and 2005.
If placebo is the affect, I'm running with it for the rest of my life. I do
not want to return to the days of popping hands full of pills to keep my
face from leaking and itching. They did not work effectively; honey is my
best bet.
