To follow up on Dr Mussen's excellent newsletter:

The key thing for summer treatment appears to be to get 30mg active
ingredient into a colony each week, repeated for 4 weeks.  That works out to
the following dilutions and amount applied.

454g bottle/40 gal syrup =30mg/pt fed

454g bottle /20gal syrup = 30mg/cup drench

454g bottle /10gal syrup = 30mg/half cup drench

Note that the product is not very stable in syrup, and should be used
quickly!
