JOB SUMMARY:
This position is at the Underwater Archaeology Branch,
Naval History and Heritage Command (NHHC), Washington, DC. Responsible for
managing and conducting archaeological research and survey on the Navy’s over
17000 sunken military craft. Conserves and curates artifacts associated with
Navy sunken military craft and undertakes public outreach initiatives to inform
the Navy and the public of their maritime heritage.
