Andrew: Following on David Parkhill's note, I take back what I said about
onsulting a mechanic (I had failed to look at your pictures). You need to
show the objects or pictures to some old farmers instead. Or, at least,
farmers who know or knew something about horse-drawn equipment. Better
hurry. They're likely to be in their 80s or 90s or to be living in remote
rural areas.
