When we moved back to Europe we got a pretty deal on a small container: we
just put our furniture, books, computers, everything in & unloaded it back
here in Germany
Shipping stuff by surface can probably still be done fairly easily; best to
contact a moving/shipping company

I was hoping someone had experience post 9/11 shipping books from the US to
Europe. A friend is a student here and has @300 books to take back to greece
in the spring and needs suggestions for cheap ways to do it.? I thank you in
advance and will happily take responses off-list.
