This is a wonderful facility. With lots of potential.
I am not so enthusiastic about the historic preservation and
archeological aspects of maryland state government -a loosing battle
made worse by those in power.
Lots of preservation failures and trade off deals but that is probably
happening everywhere. Maryland is a develpers state and nothing is
stopping them and part of the blame is to be shared by academics who are
employed and have been for a while. But that is probably true elswhere
as well. I as a professional opted out years ago for reasons that persist.
