I'll have to get this set. I already have Pinnock, Hogwood, and Pearlman;
I like each very much. However, the reviews I've read and William's
opinion clearly place the Manze at the top.
It's good to see a new crop of HIP specialists getting well deserved
accolades. Folks like Manze, Biondi, and Rousset are giving Gardiner,
Hogwood, Christie, et al a good run for the money. All this further
debunks the notions of people such as Donald Vroon that the HIP movement
is just a fad.
