Hello Folks,
Just a short announcement, so that those of you who might be interested can mark up their calendars.
This year, the Midwest Historical Archaeological Conference (MHAC) will be held on Saturday, 6 October 2012, here on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). This one-day event will be jointly sponsored by the Illinois State Archaeological Survey / Prairie Research Institute, and the UIUC Department of Anthropology.
The major theme for this year's meeting is still under development, but we are again strongly encouraging a high degree of undergraduate and graduate student participation – including a poster session, and perhaps a 5-minute lightning paper session, if the interest is there …
Further details will be forthcoming over the next month or so, and will posted here on HISTARCH, as well as on the Illinois State Archaeological Survey (ISAS) website: http://www.isas.illinois.edu/index.shtml .
Thanks,
Mark
