Last week at the Society for Civil War Historians conference in
Philadelphia, I ran into John Inscoe, a historian from the University
of Georgia and editor of the Georgia Historical Quarterly. He's trying
to put together a couple of issues on archaeology, and is looking for
contributions from historical archaeologists. Anyone with research in
