A belated second to Bob Schuyler's note of congratulations to the organizers of the 41st annual SHA conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Terry Klein and all those involved in organizing the meeting did an excellent job. The papers were excellent, the hotel was top notch, and being so close to Route 66 and only an hour or so from beautiful Santa Fe was a real treat.
Bob neglected to note one other highlight of the conference. At the business meeting Mary Beaudry announced that Dr. Robert L. Schuyler will receive the Society for Historical Archaeology's Harrington Medal at the 2009 meeting in Toronto. Please join me in congratulating him on a well-deserved honor.
See you in Toronto,
Rich
