I have a very specific question about the 1852/1853 Map of Detroit,
published by Henry Hart. In the past, when we've utilized this map, it was
located at the Detroit Public Library in the Burton Historical Collection.
However, in recent years they seemed to have misplaced it so that it is no
longer available. My question is for those of you familiar with the Detroit
area. Would it be available at any other institution in southeast Michigan?
University? Library? etc. The map is very useful for archaeological
investigation as it depicts individual dwellings, etc. as of the early 1850's.
Thanks in advance,

Kent Taylor
