That is nasonov pheromone - geraniol, e-citral, nerolic and geranic acids.

Alarm pheromone is iso-pentyl acetate - smells like pear-drops (whatever 
happened to them?).  Plenty of it around yesterday when we went out trying 
to sort out the bees!
