Bob, 
I am sure I am not the only one who greatly appreciates your participation
here. I can even begin to tell you what percentage of what I think "I know"
I got from you and/or others here. It's a lot, though. I hope you are not
discouraged by the frequent jousting. As I mentioned recently, this is an
important part in real scientific inquiry.

To take what so and so says on face value and never question it, is suicide.
But to fall into indecision and inaction is just as bad or worse. Keep up
the good fight!
