Dear Colleagues, with apologies for cross and multiple postings, here is
an announcement of an event for your diaries.
At its January 6, 2010 meeting, the Board of Directors of the Society
for Historical Archaeology (www.sha.org <outbind://4/www.sha.org> )
voted to hold the 47th Conference on Historical and Underwater
Archaeology in Quebec City, Canada, in January 2014.
On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to extend a warm
invitation (to a wintry city...) to attend this conference that will be
held on the theme "Questions that count: a critical evaluation of
historical archaeology in the 21st century". We hope that this
conference will allow you to take the full measure of the progression of
our discipline in this new millenia and to enjoy the charms of Quebec, a
UNESCO world heritage city.
