The term Celadon refers to the light green or grey color of porcelaneous
stoneware produced in Asia. The word is actually French. Be careful of
counterfeits.

A fellow came into my museum recently saying he has some miniature plates
made of celedon in S. Korea. They have fine white sand on the bottom
apparently from firing.
