I'm hoping someone can identify an iron object that was found near the
remains of a logging railroad grade south of Nacogdoches, Texas.  I still
have much to learn about late 19th/early-mid 20th century material.  This
object has a slight resemblance to the Easter Island heads (oops!  Not sure
if that's allowed--you can edit that out, Anita--sorry!).  It is posted on
