Hi again,

I have a partial photocopy of Bense's Presidio Santa Maria de Galve that shows, on the cover, a banded type of majolica with the colors appearing to be large enough to cover the bit I have, and also what I believe she identified as Puebla Polychrome in Figure 4.52(b) that - on the cover, again in my photocopy - has the grayish blue color I am talking about in the concave diamond to the "northest" of the white base.

"My" bit has a buff yellow paste.

My question again is - has anyone seen these majolicas decorated both inside and outside?

Or am I misidentifying another ware?

The Blas Aguilar Adobe construction date was 1790's to 1840's according to a report by Sanchez, Gil and Daryl Allen Architectural Investigation of the Blas Aguilar Adobe dated 1990.

Thanks to all,

S. Walter
