We use Mainland Mart misters also, and they have proven to be reliable, durable and cost-effective overall.  One feature is that they use replaceable, inexpensive piezo transducers.  We've had a couple fail outright out of warranty, possibly due to overheating. I believe they are rated to around 104˚ F and they do produce heat.  One can accommodate for this by cooling the water in some fashion.

For what it's worth I started by using the Tamori transducers, then  
switched over to pond-style units from Mainland Mart.  They put out a  
great variety of units.
