Diana,
Check out Eric Chudler's website, Neuroscience for Kids,
http://faculty.washington.edu/chudler/neurok.html
I found it useful for a brain exhibit I worked on once. Also cited within
his site is the Mammalian Brain Collection of the University of Wisconsin,
with lots of images (hopefully some midsagittal).

Dear list members,
I'm developing an exhibit on the brain, and need clear, midsagittal
views of the brains of many different animals. Google image search
has proved disappointing (I can't find many midsagittal sections).
Your help in acquiring such images would be much appreciated.
Kind regards,
Diana Issidorides
