ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

All,

The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA's) Office
of Education will be hosting an informational and question and answer
session about their current funding solicitation, which is open to
institutions interested in developing exhibits featuring spherical display
systems showing Earth system science or developing science modules for these
systems, at the upcoming ASTC Annual Conference in Los Angeles. (Note that
non-governmental international institutions are eligible to apply.) The
session, open to all Conference attendees, will be held on Sunday, October
14, from 3:30 - 4:30 PM in the ASTC Exhibit Hall. Further details on the
location will be posted at the NOAA booth (#551).

Grant applications for the solicitation are due by 5:00 PM EDT on October
30, 2007, so this is a great chance meet NOAA reps face-to-face, get your
questions about the soliciation answered, and still get home in time to
write, touch-up, or complete your submission! For more information on the
grant, visit: http://www.oesd.noaa.gov/funding_opps.html. Contact John
McLaughlin at [log in to unmask] or (202) 482-2893 with any questions.
