The elephant's toothpaste is a great wow experiment. We are also doing a
bottomless hydrogen bottle demo as well as an acetylene explosion in a metal
coffee can. All of these are visitor's favorites.

Hello!

We are putting together a 20 minute science demonstration about chemistry to
be presented to school groups visiting the museum. The presentation is
lively, with lots of audience participation. We are trying to find a great
demonstration to use as a finale, one with lots of WOW factor. We ordered
some stuff from Flinn Scientific and were not very impressed (we tried a
chemo luminescence demo that didn't seem to glow very much and a super
polymer that is supposed to be self siphoning, but didn't show up very well
at the back of the room). We've already incorporated the Whoosh Bottle and
hydrogen balloon into the show. Any recommendations?

Thanks,
