Quite a long time ago I installed a couple of these in the small interactive
exhibit display at Daresbury Laboratory, Warrington, UK. Photos are here:

from Philip Harris www.philipharris.co.uk supplies of laboratory equipment
for use in schools.

I assumed that anything specifically designed for classroom use should not
be emitting harmful radiation.

To avoid other hazards, I displayed the apparatus in strong glass cases with
external controls allowing users to conduct simple experiments appropriate
to their age and ability.
