ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Does anyone know of any research about what types of computer
graphics really draw people in to an exhibit? We have our first ever
(that's right!) computer-run exhibit that involves racing two types
of bikes and watching the road as you pedal or watching a skeleton
pedaling. People seem to be immune to seeing computer screens and
they sometimes don't notice the exhibit or don't approach it, even
with two exercise bikes sitting there. I am wondering what we can do
to the "resting" screen that says "Touch to begin" to draw people
in. Right now it looks very sleek and metallic. Any reference
material about computer graphics and visitor response would be great.
Thanks,
Anna
