That's a surprising statement. My raspberries are equally visited by bumblebees and honey bees but my tomatoes are visited by neither. One can produce varietal raspberry honey - I have not - if one is fortunate to be close to large raspberry plantings or wild raspberries.
We still have ample bumble bees in southern NY.
