Kendall,
I don't have any examples to share with you, but I can't wait to see what you
come up with! Gender eguity in STEM is one of our top inniatives (in particular
with Latinas) and we work with wonderful people at Sci Girls, National Girls
Collaborative Project, and hopefully soon with the Society of Women Engineers &
AAUW. All of them have valuable information on their websites. We have used
their information in our programming and the difference is very apparent. No,
it doesn't apply to all girls, but the ones it does connect with make dramatic
shifts in their ability to see themselves in traditionally male dominated fields
like engineering. I'm glad to see someone developing an engineering exhibit
with girls in mind.

Good Morning Everyone,
I am part of a team currently working on the early development of a
"girl-friendly" exhibit project and we're wondering if there are any
existing exhibits out there that we can learn from. Our exhibit will be
focused on engineering, but we'd like to hear about exhibits on any
topic targeted at girls. We've found lots of interesting programming to
look at, but not much in the exhibit world. If you know of any
girl-focused exhibits, I'd love to hear from you. Feel free to contact
me off-list at:
