Along the same lines...
Anyone have any ideas on ways to make your holidays a little more green? I
am doing a two- hour Family Program (6 - 12 year olds and their favorite
adult) entitled, "Red Tide, Green Holidays" soon and have plenty of red tide
ideas but am lacking in interesting, hands-on "green" activities for our
(younger) participants. I'm planning on making "red tide bloom" decorations
from recycled paper, "Pinning the Tail on the Dinoflagellate," doing a
bioaccumulation activity, and giving out a "Green Holiday Tips" handout.
Any thoughts on holiday specific green ideas or activities would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks,
Tim
