the movement to ban cosmetic chem use on lawns started in Canada in Quebec and then spread to
Ontario this spring. many eastern US cities were the early adapters.

you can make fun of it if you want, but we're talking a large tonnage of materials that could be taken
out of the environment.
oh yeah - BTW - lots of women's cosmetics are full of nasty materials too. some of the more
informed women buy all plant based products in a rapidly growing market.
