Jerry I am well aware that imidicloprid has been around a long time. I am
not the one that is fingering it.
What I am questioning is the sheer frequency that it is being used and the
number of formulations it is used in. Is the teacup full?? In our area it
is being recomended for control of "everything" from lawn grubs to potato
beetles, and is being labeled on a very large percentage of our food crops.
I do not really think that it is the problem in CCD, if it was there would
be CCD in all the bees. The only way that a beek can avoid it is to move
completely away from Agriculture.
